The 2025 Acadian Pond Hockey Classic brought players, fans, and volunteers together on the ice at Long Lake in St. Agatha. As teams competed in both the Open and Recreational divisions, Aroostook Unmanned Aerial Services (Aroostook UAS) provided imaging services to document the tournament from both aerial and ground perspectives.
Supporting the Community
Aroostook UAS is proud to support local events that bring people together. This year, we provided aerial and ground photography to capture the tournament. From game action to team camaraderie, our images showcase the event’s highlights.
Capturing the Event
Pond hockey is unique in its outdoor setting, and both aerial and ground photography help provide a full view of the tournament. Our drone imaging captured the rinks, players, and spectators. These images document not just the competition, but the community effort behind it. In addition to photography, we also captured a large amount of video throughout the tournament, which will be available for viewing in the near future. On Sunday, due to constant snow squalls, we were only able to put the drone in the air once, making our ground photography even more crucial in capturing the final day of the tournament.
